Give back to your community museum today! Since 1962, LASM has served Baton Rouge and beyond with entertaining, educational, and accessible art and science programming designed to inspire audiences from all backgrounds. We need your generous, tax-deductible gifts in any amount now more than ever.
Serving the Baton Rouge community and beyond since 1962, the American Alliance of Museums-accredited Louisiana Art & Science Museum is housed in a 1925 train station on the banks of the Mississippi River. Featuring a robust K-12 educational program, the state-of-the-art Irene W. Pennington Planetarium, numerous art and science galleries, and changing fine art exhibitions, LASM is an anchoring cultural institution in not only the Baton Rouge area but the entire southeastern region.
Thirty-six years in the making, LASM's Annual Gala is one of the longest running social events in Baton Rouge. The largest fundraiser for the Museum of the year, all proceeds support educational programming at LASM. Join our community of art & science supporters by supporting our 36th Annual Gala: Iridescence!
